Bitterness and Better Not

Hey yall*

Sometimes in life we allow certain things to get the best of us, we carry baggage, men and women alike, into multiple friendships and relationships. I ask sometimes when is it bitterness and when is it better not? What does that mean you ask?!! Well bitterness is a like a bad seed in an apple. It is only one part of the apple but it can make the whole thing taste bad. Better not is something that is just a no-no, something that you must just let bypass and carry on about your bizness (business). We all have parts that make up the whole, but that whole is only as strong as its' weakest link. This cliche means if that one part or link gives out, guess what the rest of it comes tumbling with it.

Focusing on bitterness, we can be the prettiest person in the world and that one bad part of you, for example, attitude, smart mouth, or pessimistic mentality, can make you completely ugly but mostly on the inside. Don't get me wrong we all have some "ugliness" to us, but experience and situations will begin to make that ugliness show. Learning to let go, forgive, and have compassion and love can remove this "growth" of ugliness. Sometimes some people like to be miserable, that is the only excitement in their life, but ultimately God is in control of your life, and you are in control of your actions. Learn to own up to things you do wrong. People often say well this is just me, okay if that's just you what happened to the rest of you??!!! This is an excuse, you have a choice, you have options, and you can change your ways which in turn will change your mindset and your actions.

Focusing on better not, sometimes if you just think before you react then your cause and effect will have a much different outcome. People say "Positive thoughts, bring positive results", I disagree with this. I believe positive actions that begin with thoughts will lead to positive outcomes. It's the same thing you say, Nah I beg to differ. You can think whatever you want but if you have no follow through with your actions, things are going to continue to be the same. So I say you better not react before you think, nor do before you recognize the consequences. Because you did this is why this turned out this way. Is it always going to be a good outcome even with positive thoughts, naw but positive thoughts will help you handle those difficult outcomes. It will always be according to God's will and ultimately you have no say in that, you only have freewill. All things work together for your good, keyword ALL, good and bad.

Thought: We need struggle to know success and we need pain to recognize joy! Don't recreate the wheel, let God do his job and you can handle the rest. Trust me you better not have bitterness!
