Are you dateable?  

Do you ever stand in the mirror to give yourself a pep talk? Maybe even to see if ya butt got a little bigger or maybe for men seeing if ya pecks are starting to show? Well at some point in our lives, I believe we all ask ourselves Would I Date Me? Of course the answer to that is always yes, but If you don’t ask yourself that question, then I believe this is probably for you!!! I know we all think we are the “baddest”, “realest”, “freshest” and things to that nature, but do you ever really look in that mirror and see who you really are? Do you ask yourself what is my personality like now days, how do I see myself emotionally, what can I do to better myself internally? Probably not, because what we see in the mirror is what our skin looks like, how we can fix this body of ours, how pretty our hair looks, and what we are working with externally.

What really makes you dateable? Your resume, your career, your financial status, uhh yea I guess that plays a part but ultimately, all the money in the world can buy you temporary happiness and love but at some point, by the time you feel used and abused, the thrill is gone and so is the person....or at least the essence of the person you thought you knew. 

I think in life sometimes you need to reexamine yourself in that mirror, if you aren’t seeing what will change in the mirror then change what's in the mirror. Self esteem, self confidence, goals and ambitions, are more than just a frame to your perfect picture. Your motivations should echo your goals and your actions should mirror your words, the good part of course :)! At one point or another, that translucent phisage of "I'm invinceable" slowing fades away leaving you in a cloud of chalky dustiness. In actuality, we all can use work and something to work with, dust those erasers off and start new. Reclaim those dreams that you sought after since you were 6, load up that bucket list that you thought you'd never get through, and get the strength to tell God thank you every day, more than once a day!
