You Are

Beautiful you are, from the way your shirt lies across your collar bone as if the clouds have met their skyline at the nape of your clavicle. Undoubtedly clever seeing as how our sunsets have never met at the same horizon, as if we are on different shorelines, loving from a distance. But in this instance, this moment, this time I feel closer to you than the heavens in the sky feels to the stars. A distant wish, in our next lifetime.....
